Another Chapter Closed...

Almost after a year; too late may be, but still I thought I should come up with this before it is forgotten. 23rd Nov 2012: was the day.
With more than seven years of time spent together, now it shows that it has been enough time for the gang to gel well with each other. Whenever the gang is together I take a hold in the walk of My Life and create a wonderful chapter worth reading whenever I go back through them. Yet another chapter was into making and is now completed when I am writing this. Every chapter needs a reason for its making. This time the reason being our beloved Skeleton; CHIRAG, getting married. Not so soon we all imagined anyone of us would get married. Therefore it was totally an exquisite as well as an exclusive reason to plan a trip. Everyone had put a good amount of effort to make it a success, with Rohan making a huge effort of taking such a long leave from work.

With almost 4 months of extensive planning; from making an itinerary by me to chopping it by the gang and all the chats shared on whatsapp and other mail threads the excitement was set at the heights for the trip. With 11 members at the initial stages of planning; to finally only 7 members for execution of the plan, the trip was a Full-on-Todu-Dhamal. First ever trip when the whole gang was together and there were females too. Every one managing to keep a decent face on and behaving like a gentleman and no sooner until we realized the females were fine and fun loving as similar to us and all were back to their original faces.

No single chapter can ever be started or completed without a Poem by me…..

Nikle the ek Hassin safar pe, Jine Zindagi ke Armaan..
Jahan Raat ki Chandani Mashoor, Din Ka Ujala Benam..

Dikhti hai Door Dariya main ek Kashti, Lehro ke Beech Befaam..
Saanj ki Lehro ke Madhum sur main, Takrayenge Masti ke Jaam..

Dubte Suraj Ka Mast Aalam, Aasman main Angdai bhar rahi Chadti Shaam..
Hatho main Bhara Masti ka Jaam, Raat Main Jhakte Chaand ke Naam..

As start to this Chapter, we had just opened the first few pages at the Dadar station. With literally no trains at the Borivali station, the chapter opened on a furious note. Later with a surprising catch of an unexpected train THE BALL was SET ROLLING to start this new Chapter. Oh BTW the Chapter is named: 'GOA'.

GoA: Galore of Aliveness ! GoA: Galore of Amusement ! GoA: Galore of Alcohol !

Every moment of the chapter with turn of Page had a new tune of Laughter with it and the tone turned into an Uproar of Laughter with the Chapter read almost half way. An all together different level of humor in the chapter was added by our beloved Yogen: Yogen losing things around Him and the epic of all ‘Yogen Losing Pooja at Brittos’, Yogen left alone with the ladies for shopping, Yogen running between two rooms to find bed for himself, Yogen waiting alone outside the temple under the burning sun and chatting with people inside and the Karsan Bhai Shah episode in the end. The glamour to our reading was added by the special clicks of the Gala+Dharod couple then, and Camera person: Mr. Rohan Kamath.

The bike rides were the most fun filled and pain filled lines in the chapters. The pleasant and scenic routes of destination around Goa make beautiful memories throughout the chapter. A special mention, for me about the Bike rides was the ‘Live Radio’ I got fitted in my Bike: Rohan Kamath and for Yogen a Speed breaker right behind him: Pooja Sawant. Kunal Gangar would be a great rescuer when amid some route we needed GPS support.

The swimming pool baths and the bath at the beach, a good relaxing time spent. The Cruise ride in the Mandovi River was a stagnant stage in the chapter, but soon the music and dance in the lower deck of the cruise escalated everybody’s mood once again. The visit to the Basilica of Bom Jesus Church where the St’ Francis Xavier rests and to The Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church was a good religious inclination during the trip. It was a good architectural treat too. The halts at the Miramar Beach, Dona Paula and few other places were great photography sessions and resting time after long drives.

The breakfast in our hotel itself and The Sagar Anand Restaurant, The Dominos, The Rasoi, The Shiv Sagar and several different local resto’s stood there for us to pamper our Hungry Stomachs. The Shacks on the beaches added to the experience on the evenings spent there, and best of all being Bottle Bay Shack on Baga Beach. The shacks remind me of the ‘full of meaning’ talks had with Rohan about our life’s current happenings and future comings. Some splendid little memories like seating in the balcony during morning breakfasts or by the swimming pool in the night or getting ready hastily and rushing to head towards a club and finally spending some good time on the Beach filled few beautiful lines in the chapter.

But as the saying goes, all good things come to an end sooner or later. With every moment increasing the Laughter and we saw the Moment of End coming near; the Sun going below Horizon, Water approaching the Shores of Beaches, the Shacks Thumping High Music and activities coming to Relax Mode; it was time to say Good Bye GOA. Vacation-Why-You-No-Be-Long!!

But I must say, with sun rising high on head and waves drowning deep in sea bed, to sun setting down in the evening and the waves eager towards the shores and till the Moon shining in the dark skies and waves tiding high; it’s always a great ambiance in GOA. The best part stands, Goa is of an ambient that comforts its entire visitor diversity, national or from across borders. Hope to be back here soon for a New Chapter, until then Taa-taa

Today we will do in BKK what it is most known for: Shopping. This activity would occupy the whole day of the tour. Shopping will be attacked on in the famous Malls and other Night Markets of BKK. We would ride back to hotel with the approaching Moon to the sky.

With loads of bags in hands and tire in body we may return to the Hotel. I hardly guess somebody is even gazing at the moon at this day of the Tour. The Tour is about to end in a Night and therefore we may recollect the whole trip in a glimpse and tap as much possible fun there. Hell now, nobody must even be concerned about the dinner; therefore lets flow with whatever occurs accordingly. Sleep may not come to your eyes but still as I everyday did #Good Night

10th Oct 2011

#Good Morning. Wake Up!! Wake Up!! Grab a brush and put on a little make up, hide the scars to fade away the shakeup. Right guies, here comes the end of the trip. Hope Your bags are all packed and Potty is taken care of to avoid embracement on the flight. We may reach Mumbai by evening (5.00 Pm) and after immigration (if required) we would soon all be at individual homes.

Today the dusky moon may rise, but I wonder if that would bother much any more; atleast until the next morning. #Good Night

=THE END=
Thanking You.

Regards,
The Self-Proclaimed Tour Guide.

I Have .....

I have seen Castles made out of Sand,
Met people who believe destiny is engraved on the palms of their hands...

I have seen people change their Faith,
Experienced Love change into Hate...

I have seen people grow younger with age,
And a Bird who wouldn't fly out of an open cage...

I have seen Love sold for Money,
People who are devastated inside but outside they are funny...

I have seen the Unicorn fall in Love with the Toad,
People who owned half the city have now hit the Road...

I have learned to Expect the Unexpected,
Perfection doesn't exist, We are all Defected...

Everyone cries, some just hide their tears,
They say Coal turns Diamond over a thousand years...

Someone may believe You are one in a million,
For others You are just another nobody in the billion...

So live life with all that You have, Cherish all Your Moments Happy or Sad !!!

Feel Blessed with what You are, Coz Life is too short and We are Just here for a Moment !!!

Rains n The Mumbai City...

The season calendar is very well sorted in our nation and people are so very prepared to combat every change that comes in the Nature. Rain is among the ones where the people need to take some extra efforts for the self satisfactory win. Some strategise their plans with umbrellas, wind-cheaters or rain coats, some enjoy the rains and others beat it up with abuses.

The flowing water around, the smell of the wet-mud, fast growing green color around the whole city and spoting of Bhajiyawalas on the streets and enjoying bhajiyas with masala chai is a kind of stress buster equipments adopted by the people of this city during rains. Well I prefer Pav Bhaji and Makkai (American Corn).

Many drenched in water complaint about the wet dumpness due to rains, some complaint about the laziness that the climate creats in oneself and many other complaint about the traffic jams and the water filled small ponds. But all make it a point to enjoy the rains atleast once in the season by crusing to the nearest spots to the city like the Lonavala or the famous Khandala or the Malsegh Ghat and many new spots are in frame like Ambey Valley and Lavasa. The point here is Rain brings with itself the mixed emotions.

This rain must have got good vibe with it and many must be experiencing nice swing in their moods. Love for MANY must be in Air, but a bit drenched in water. Also Many may be down with the very thought of the mess that they would have to face to travel through the rains to work or for that matter anywhere.

!!! But very few like me would be scared of the rain. For consecutively Past 6 years rain has caused me loss in some or the other way but surely in monitory terms. Therefore trying to confuse Rain God with Words of Praise n Critics. Trying to save myself this time atleast. May Rain God Bless me.. Amen !!!

2nd June 2011, here comes the Historic day of the year. The City of Mumbai experienced its first rain for the year. Heavy winds and a good shower to start with. The streets of the city got a good wash and almost all dust got drained off, thats totally different that the side blocks of the roads are now somewhat filled with mud clay.

Hope this year everybody enjoies this season and also so do I. Hope I am kept away from the reason to crib about rains and that next time when I re-write this chapter, I have only good to talk about and that my scare turns into BLISS...

A Beautiful Sketch: Malshej Ghat..

Mere a good quality paint brush or the best colors are not the element for the result of a good painting. The imagination and the thought of the painter and the effort and passion that the painter implies in the painting add worth to the painting. The painter needs to imagine the perfect picture to make a painting touch the right cord in the viewers mind through his/er eyes.

Today on 1st of August 2011, I witnessed the best painter ever, ‘The God All Mighty’. Perfect imagination, perfect tinge of colors, perfect strokes with the brush; everything was just perfect. To take the level of perfection a step further, the perfect weather was the thing God thought of to make the sketch worth ‘Priceless’.

The variant shades of green, the white strokes of waterfalls and the brown dusky shade of soil just made the painting so vibrant. The smoke of fog throughout raised the curiosity to explore the new shades that came across.

The dimension of God for this painting must have been designed when God must have thought of giving his people an idea about the heaven.

The Trek (Kohoj Fort)

A view of lush green landscape with heavy rain and fog to add to all, that to at a height of above 2000 feet from ground is all what one would ask for to attain BLISS. But I am not too sure if the pain of pulling self to the destination is worth the achievement. One needs to be very passionate about this activity to have complete benefit of the whole effort.

For a person like me with 118 kg baggage that I carry in myself, I can’t even imagine in the rarest of my dreams that I could do such a thing. It was like a fairytale for me to think of commencing a trek on a 2000 feet mountain, through a very rough trail against my capacity and willpower. The exertion of the trek had exhausted the every bit of energy in me and was almost making me die every step I moved further (which is very shameful). **A super special thank to @Chirag Gala, @Ajay Dedhia, @Rubin Sethia, @Rushabh Gala. I had almost lost hopes of completing the trek but this people helped me pull myself to the final Rock of achievement. Additional thanks to @Chirag Gala and @Rubin Sethia to literally pull me ;-).

After almost a trek of more than 11 hours I realized what many people have trained themselves to be capable of and what I have lacked on such bigtime that I had a serious tough time. The trek was fun actually awesome which left me speechless (had no energy in the end ;-)) but the pain is still reminding me the whole trip inch by inch and second by second. *AAh AAh Ouch*

A much bigger thank to the whole group (The Sky High Gang) and a five star thank to @Chirag Gala, @Miral Shah, @Yash Shah, @Saloni Damani, @Jinal Damani, Rushabh Gala.

An event I would remember for my whole LifeTime…may be even after life too…
